Resident Evil 4

Third time's the charm after all

We gave the other versions of RE4 a perfect score... two years ago. The drop in visual quality over that time plus the fact that it's the same game again forces us to reevaluate the Wii release. Granted, it's cheaper, but if you're content with the others, there's no great incentive to play again. It may be one of the best action/horror games of all time, but the hardcore audience wants more than the best of 2005. Outstanding game, questionable release.

You'll love
  • Game still rocks
  • Wii controls
  • Kicking heads open
You'll hate
  • Um, again?
  • Not one new anything
  • Only for the hardcore

I hated this game. The controls were frustrating as hell. And I don't mean stopping to shoot, I mean the annoying Wii Remote aiming.

I just bought this game for $17.99 at GameStop. My mom was skeptical at first (That game is rated M!) I just told her that it has no zombies. She said after I played it "I wish they were zombies." But nonetheless, she lets me play it only at 8:30pm after my sister goes to bed. (Nice job mom!) I don't care. I am only 13 though. Another thing is the fact that I have a little score adjuster.

+1 If you bought it used under $19.99!
+1 If you bought it thinking it would be difficult!
-1 If you thought anyone could play it! (This means what if Grandpa bought it?)
-1 If you bought it for standard Retail Price. ($49.99)

This means the game can get a grand score of Eleven, or a suckage score of 7.
