Capcom has a ton of merchandise to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Resident Evil including a replica pistol. You can purchase Chris Redfields Samurai Edge, but it wont save you during a zombie outbreak since its an air gun. At 20,790 yen ($244) this Marui made replica is quite the collectable. 1/6 scale models of Jill Valentine wearing a battle suit and Ada Wong in her Resident Evil 4 outfit will also go sale this year. Both are roughly 28 cm tall and the Jill model has 30 moveable points. Fans can grab the Jill Valentine model in May for 18,900 yen ($221). A release date for the Ada model has not been announced.
Imagine if Tricell Pharmaceutical Company made a product that transformed wimpy men into deadly killers who could survive being neck deep in a river of volcanic magma. Imagine that product being called 'Old Uroboros' and being endorsed by Resident Evil's metrosexual bad guy Albert Wesker. Now imagine if the TV commercial for 'Old Uroboros' was like this...
Gamerzines writes: Capcom producer Keiji Infaune has voiced his opinion of the classic reboot Resident Evil 4 saying he wouldn't call it a 'zombie game'.

Y'know, what? We never realised the seminally shitty Resi movies were actually, at heart, small, independent, European flicks with loads of artistic merit. Hmmm, we guess the fact they're all full of paper mache-looking zombies, awful rock music and were filmed for tens of millions of dollars each really threw us of the scent. Well thankfully, Milla Jovovich who has played Alice in all the Resident Evil films, including the upcoming 3D Afterlife, is here to put us straight in an interview with Reuters that reminds us of a horned mammal's excrement.
It might lack the satin sexiness of Ada Wong or the strike-a-pose foppishness of Leon Kennedy, but this inspirational Licker costume has a special charm all of its own. It is quite simply the best Resident Evil cosplay I have ever seen.
You probably know about Resident Evil: Afterlife. It's a new Resident Evil movie directed by Paul WS Anderson and starring Mila Jovovovich. There was a proper trailer released for it a little while ago. But this trailer is way funnier than the proper one.
HellDescent writes: Capcom has always been known for putting in some bonus modes and treats to liven up their games after completion and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles follows that tradition. We have 2 videos here that show of some of the bonuses we can expect to see in this title.
HellDescent writes: The 4th Resident Evil film has officially been confirmed by Screen Gems and Constantine Films. Milla Jovavich is returning as Alice, Ali Larter as Clair Redfield, Spencer Locke as K-Mart, Wentworth Miller as Chris Redfield and Albert Wesker will be now played by Shawn Roberts. The full 3D film is set to begin filming in Toronto very soon.
