David Geudelekian, Producer on Ready 2 Rumble Revolution, has claimed that the Wii's much-vaunted control scheme is far from perfect. There are a lot of hardware limitations on the Wii, like for example the Z-planing is very difficult - it's the worst and least sensitive motion for the Wii, Geudelekian told Kikizo. This particular drawback has apparently obliged R2RR developer AKI Corporation to use the Wii remote's accelerometer in some cases rather than its motion-sensing functionality. Geudelekian later reflected negatively on the Wii's software line-up, commenting that R2RR's mini-game offerings were a far cry from the waggle-fest mini-games that we're used to on this wonderful piece of hardware. Hit the jump for Geudelekian's thoughts on the strength of the IP, Revolution's relaxed combo timing and celebrities who really need to get over themselves.
