Ready 2 Rumble Revolution

Here's the Euro videogames releases for this week, highlights include WWE Legends of Wrestling, Madworld and GTA Chinatown Wars. All Games are due for release on March 20th unless otherwise stated.

The week ahead belongs to the portable gaming systems, with several big titles for the Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, and nothing new for the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3. Rockstar Games brings Grand Theft Auto to the DS with Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. PSP gamers can look forward to Resistance Retribution. Don't forget to link up to Resistance 2 on the PS3! There are a couple of bundles from Ubisoft and a few RPGs to check out as well. David Geudelekian, Producer on Ready 2 Rumble Revolution, has claimed that the Wii's much-vaunted control scheme is far from perfect. There are a lot of hardware limitations on the Wii, like for example the Z-planing is very difficult - it's the worst and least sensitive motion for the Wii, Geudelekian told Kikizo. This particular drawback has apparently obliged R2RR developer AKI Corporation to use the Wii remote's accelerometer in some cases rather than its motion-sensing functionality. Geudelekian later reflected negatively on the Wii's software line-up, commenting that R2RR's mini-game offerings were a far cry from the waggle-fest mini-games that we're used to on this wonderful piece of hardware.
