Jan 4, 2008 Try playing Twilight Princess after staying awake for 72 consecutive hours and youll be well on your way to understanding what Okami, formerly developed for and released on PS2, is all about. Taking control of a Sun Goddess reincarnated in the form of a white wolf, and accompanied on your travels by - yes! - a talking flea, you set out to do… er… slay some demons, indulge in some lady rescue, that kind of thing. The plot (of which there is plenty, admittedly) isnt so

When deciding which game should sit on the illustrious Wii previews page we reached a zombie-scented fork in the road. Do we cover Onechanbara or Dead Rising? Hands-on with Capcom’s effort sees it shaping into a disappointingly wonky ride, so we opted for the underdog.

In case you haven’t noticed that we’ve been hosing down our pages with cosplay cuties, it’s GamesRadar’s [Week of Babes]. So we’re excited to announce that Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers will be heading to the US and UK in early 2009.

If you’re not familiar with the Onechanbara series, you’ve been missing out on one of the best examples of wildly weird titles that could only come from the

Like a man leaping unexpectedly from a cardboard box in a corner, Koei this month unveiled Opoona - a lovely-looking Wii "lifestyle RPG" from the people behind Japanese mega-RPG Dragon Quest. It's an intriguing mash-up of Final Fantasy and Animal Crossing, with the bobble-headed star (Opoona himself) both engaging in nunchuk-controlled combat - throwing "Energy Bonbons" at enemies - and taking on jobs that provide cash for household item shopping. No US date has been announced yet, but in the

For all you gaming addicts looking for a fix, check out these treats: Opoona - Wii A very unusual little game for the Wii that combines community and relationship-building elements with a traditional RPG - a bit like, say, Animal Crossing but with a proper adventure to work through. Even better is the way it uses the Wiis Remote and Nunchuck, allowing you to move with the analog stick and battle by swinging the remote. Crazi Taxi: Fare Wars - PSP We reckon this is just about old enough now

Cooking games – all the hassle of cooking, with none of the delicious benefits, right? Well, not exactly, and especially not for the audience of casual culinary dabblers who gobbled up millions of copies of Cooking Mama.

Order Up!, unlike Cooking Mama, is about more than just pancake flipping - though you will flip pancakes - combining cooking with a variety of casual restaurant management and story elements.

When one is eating at a chain restaurant, Chili's perhaps, many questions enter one’s mind: Where is the food? Do they serve margarita pitchers at 2:00 PM? Where the eff is that waitress? Still, you may not be so inquisitive about who is in the kitchen. But after spending some time with Order Up!...

The other day the folks from Majesco came by and took us through a whirlwind of games in development, mostly aimed at the younger crowd or family-friendly party scene. We’ve got a lot to talk about so let’s get cracking.

Captain Olimar and his vegetable army have been noted for their absence so far on Wii, but elsewhere in this console generation the Pikmin concept found an unlikely home on Xbox 360, PC and PS3 with Codemasters’ Overlord. It’s a cross between Pikmin’s gameplay and the fantasy world of Fable, and now it’s heading for Nintendo – presumably before Miyamoto manages to create a remote-powered version of the real thing.

At Codemasters’ Gamers Day 2009, we were given a chance at a sneak peek on three new titles in the works based on 2007’s twisted fantasy action adventure, Overlord. The grotesquely charming Minion horde is back as these games begin and continue the story of the original Overlord, written by its award-winning games author Rhianna Pratchett. All games are scheduled for release in June 2009.
