They were there when Wii launched, stealing the show from Rayman in their first bizarre adventure, before receiving a significant upgrade in what was probably the best minigame compilation on a console renowned for its party games. And although Rayman’s name remains attached to the series, the real stars of the show are most definitely those mutant bunnies. With each new installment, they’re becoming highly recognisable
The rumors (and scans) are true - Capcom's officially making Mega Man 9 for WiiWare. It's been 11 years since the last numbered entry, and for fans tired of the numerous spin-offs, 9 is an ironically refreshing take on gaming's favorite robot assassin. We say ironic because, well, it's technically a huge step backwards. There's no angle, no new trick to the gameplay, it's a straight-up NES game with robot masters designed by series mastermind Keiji Inafune. Behold:
Dokapon Kingdom seems like one of Dr. Frankenstein's experiments at first - at its heart it’s a traditional, turn-based RPG, but its exterior looks more like a board game style party game. The two genres couldn't be further apart, but put them together and you get a highly competitive multiplayer experience in the guise of a party game, but with the deep structure of an RPG.
The goal of Dokapon is simple: whoever earns
We’re going to party like it’s 1984. With Guitar Hero World Tour, the latest all-singing, all finger-tapping edition of the Guitar Hero franchise aims to deliver the party vibe. This year’s game is about the social experience of joining together to rock… so let’s jump! Why the Van Halen references? Because they’re just one of the new bands confirmed as exclusive to Guitar Hero World Tour, others include
As you probably already know, Call of Duty: World at War is due out this fall for 360, PS3, PC and Wii. Activision has turned to good ol’ reliable Treyarch to develop World at War, while series creators Infinity Ward are hard at work on the next ordinal chapter, Call of Duty 5, for sometime in the distant future. More Duty should be a good thing, right? But fans are worried that with Treyarch helming the Pacific-themed WWII shooter,
The Fatal Frame games have established themselves as the byword for suspense-filled horror. There are no showers of blood or shotguns, no hideous demons with heads attached to their backsides, and definitely no muscle-bound heroes called Jack. Instead, you play as a fragile-looking Japanese schoolgirl and are only ever armed with a flashlight and a special camera that can exorcise the ghosts that haunt whatever spooky location it is that you
When one is eating at a chain restaurant, Chili's perhaps, many questions enter one’s mind: Where is the food? Do they serve margarita pitchers at 2:00 PM? Where the eff is that waitress? Still, you may not be so inquisitive about who is in the kitchen. But after spending some time with Order Up!...
Wii isn't exactly known for its unique third party titles. At best we'll see a port or an old sequel rehashed for a "new audience," maybe even a side-sequel like Soulcalibur Legends or Umbrella Chronicles that is supposed to make us forget the real sequel isn't coming. For this reason alone we applaud Spyborgs, even without having played a second of the game. Whether or not it's any good, however, remains to be seen.

Wait a second, don't run away! Yes we know, the Neopets name might sting like poisoned gasoline but hear us out. You like Puzzle Quest, right? You like going on quests, busting gems to gain mana for spells, buying items and all that fantasy crap that made an already addictive game downright irresistible, right? Thought so. And that's exactly why you're going to like
Last week Capcom revealed one of its strongest lineups in ages during the Captivate 08 event (we briefly talked about it on TalkRadar). The embargos have lifted and now we're able to say what we saw, what we played and what totally stole the show (it surprised the hell out of us, that's for sure). We'll be adding links throughout the day, so read on!
