Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

Also known as: Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End [UK]

Who knew? Licensed swashbuckling is surprisingly fun and challenging

There’s also the weird layout of the story. Although the title of the game is At World’s End, you spend a significant portion playing through parts covered in the first two movies. It can take a couple hours before you defeat the Kraken and finally get to “new” story content. Overall the game is not great, but better than your average movie-tie-in, and if you like sword fighting or pirates in general, it could be worth your time.

You'll love
  • Challenging, well-designed combat
  • Characters and humor fit the movies
  • Captures the feeling of pirate-life
You'll hate
  • Controls occasionally annoy
  • Side quests can be unrewarding
  • Too much time spent on first two movies
