It seems to be the more traditional a game is, the more difficult it is to concoct a sensible control scheme for it using the Wiimote. Opoona realizes this and ignores the Wiimote completely; the nunchuck is the only controller used to play the game, leaving your other hand free to stuff Cheetos into your maw. Opoona is a "lifestyle RPG," where you, as Opoona, descendant of brave warriors, known as Cosmo Guards, must adapt to a new environment, meet new people, get a job, all while becoming aware of the precious world and people surrounding him. Already revealed in Nintendo's Q1 2008 release schedule, KOEI confirms Opoona's is coming March 25, 2008.

According to Japanese blogger 'Sinobi', which regularly updates with early sales figures, Koei's Wii-exclusive RPG 'Opoona' - which has been getting positive previews and good magazine coverage - has sold only 2,500 copies on its first day with 3.7 million Wii's in Japan. Ace Combat 6, with fewer than 500,000 Xbox 360 in Japan, has passed 35,000 units.

Super Mario Galaxy has sold... only 130,000 units on its first day. Cubed³ provides comparative sale data to show why a lot of forum-dwellers appear to be shocked by that number.
