If you picked up NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams shortly after its release in December, there's a good chance you've finished the game up and put it on the shelf. Not so fast, though. Sega revealed to 1UP today that they have hidden some fun bonus stuff into the game that can only be viewed at the right time of year.
After the Christmas season, it seems we're finally getting into the New Year... well Nintendo are. There are five new releases this week and they are all for the Nintendo Wii, including the previously announced SEGA releases. Here's the full release list:

Sega has sent out a specific European release dates today, confirming the exact release dates of some rather anticipated games like Condemned 2, The Club & Universe at War.
Sega has today released a rectified UK release schedule for the coming months and Ghost Squad and Nights have both been moved forward by a week. The pair were both initially penciled in for release on 25 January but in a fit of generosity SEGA has moved them forward to 18 January.
Speaking to German site G-wie-Gorilla.de, Iizuka said that while it may not have started out life as a Wii game, developing Journey of Dreams for Nintendo's machine had been the right choice and that any future NiGHTS games would appear on the Wii.

Sega today announced that NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams for the Wii has shipped to retailers throughout North America. Unlike any other game, NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams delivers the feeling of flight through the innovative Wii control system and sends players on an epic journey of exploration and adventure.
Nintendo once again avoids its labelling as a manufacturer that doesn't put out software, with the introduction of Corvette Evolution GT and Warhammer 40k: Squad Command on the diminutive DS, while the Wii comes equipped with Indianapolis 500 Legends and Nights: Journey of Dreams. Xbox 360 and PS3 owners can sample a little off-road speed with MX vs. ATV: Untamed¿ but nothing else.

Sega sent out an email today, confirming the release dates for a number of their upcoming games. Among others, relase dates for such highly anticipated games like The Club (Feb 8th '08), Condemned 2 (Feb '08) and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Nov 23rd '07) were confirmed.
Sega Japan has announced that the upcoming Wii revival of the Nights franchise will be the first game to directly interact with the Wii Weather Channel.
