Atari have announced that Alone in the Dark for PS3 will be undergoing improvements, rather than just being a direct port of the Xbox 360 version.
Videogamer writes: "Atari has revealed it wants more from its major summer release, Alone in the Dark, despite the title placing at No.1 in the Xbox 360 chart and at No.3 in the All Formats chart.
With the Nintendo Wii nowhere to be seen officially as far as India is concerned, the country will soon see its first official Wii game this week. Milestone Interactive, PlayStation India's largest distributor, is testing the demand for "import" Wiis by bringing select Wii titles to the market, as many wonder if this is a precursor to an official launch in India.

Highlights this week include Battlefield: Bad Company (Xbox 360/PS3), Alone in the Dark (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2, PC) and The Sims 2: IKEA Home Stuff (PC).
Atari has issued a statement to Gamesindustry.biz about the recent reviews of Alone in the Dark. The company said that it's happy with UK reviews of AITD, but refused to comment when asked about the legal rumours that have started appearing on the web.
Alone in the Dark doesn't seem to be very popular among our Nordic brothers, as it now appears the Gamereactor Norway review wasn't just an ugly stain on an otherwise brilliant cloth.

Danish site Xbox Life is reporting that Atari has said that Alone in the Dark was only sent to Gamereactor Norway to review yesterday.
