Next-Gen.Biz writes: "Majesco Games is bringing Humongous point-and-click adventure properties Freddi Fish, SPY Fox and Pajama Sam to Nintendo Wii.

Majesco's Humongous offerings will include Freddi Fish in Kelp Seed Mystery, Pajama Sam in Don't Fear the Dark and SPY Fox in Dry Cereal. The titles were originally released for PC in the 1990s.

The Wii's point-and-click functionality is a seemingly perfect fit for the games, which rely on a cursor to navigate menus and select on-screen objects."

In the months leading up to the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2008, sources told IGN that a Wii remake of Kid Icarus was underway and destined to be unveiled at the event. Unfortunately, a day prior to the show, IGN learned that said project would not be on display after all. So when they met up with Nintendo mastermind Shigeru Miyamoto, they had Kid Icarus on their mind. The first question was, simply, where is Kid Icarus for Wii?

In a listing on e3.net, it's mentioned that Kid Icarus for the Nintendo Wii will make an appearence during E3 in a couple of weeks time.

"Released way back in 1987 for Nintendo Entertainment System, Kid Icarus remains one of the most challenging video games out there. A 1991 sequel for Nintendo's Game Boy failed to do much for the series, which has wallowed as nothing more than a fanboy dream remake ever since. Until now. Kid Icarus Wii has moved from fantasy to reality and that's a very good thing."

On their latest Nintendo Voice Chat podcast, Matt Casamassina and the gang discuss Reggie's recent comments about a holiday blockbuster to be announced at E3, and speculate that it could be the new Kid Icarus that they "know" is in the works.

Now, how Casassamassassassina and crew can be so absolutely sure that Kid Icarus is Wii-bound is beyond us. Kombo Reports: "Kombo has learned from a credible source that said Wii game is in fact a new installment in Nintendo's cherished Kid Icarus franchise. According to sources, Factor 5's Kid Icarus title is being developed ground-up for Wii. It will not use one of the developer's previous GameCube graphics engines."

Kirby Adventure Wii coming in 2008 (Kirby's Adventure - Virtual Console)

The tentatively titled Kirby Adventure was originally announced back in November 2004 for the Nintendo GameCube. The game last showed up as a Wii port in a Nintendo of Japan release schedule that noted the game has been delayed into 2008.

Nintendo's recent financial reports didn't contain much in the way of surprise game announcements, as leaks are not the company's style. Documents did re-confirm, however, that the former GameCube platformer known simply as Kirby is still on track for a 2008 release in Japan. Shown at E3 2005, the game's continued development had doubt cast upon it by the UK's Official Nintendo Magazine, but it appears that HAL Laboratory is still hard at work on the next console Kirby.
