Wii News from N4G | Call of Duty 3
Wii - Call of Duty 3 - GC06: Call of Duty 3 Multiplayer Fresh from GC2006 and also from chatting up Activision, CoD3 is shown and it is looking very sweet. As much as it pains me to say, CoD3 looks better than CoD2 by a good way. Some of the info from the event is as follows.

Wii News | Nintendo Wii
Thursday 24 August 2006 As the Leipzig Game Convention opens its doors to the public today, show-goers eager to try out Nintendo's motion-sensing wonder box for the first time will be mighty disappointed to find that it's nowhere to be found on the show floor and is only available for members of the press to play behind closed doors. The Nintendo stand is dominated entirely by DS Lite, so with Wii nowhere to be seen we asked several third-party publishers attending the event why they weren't ...

Bull in sheep's clothing Rockstar's upcoming "thug in a snooty school" simulation Bully has found itself the latest target of self-righteous parents' groups and opportunistic politicians determined to blame videogames for all the world's evils. Apparently, pretend swirlies and dodgeball are now as bad for our youth as virtual murder and muggings. So imagine the mess we're going to have to clean up when the game's oppressors' heads explode after seeing our new screens and the latest trailer - ...

With Nunchuk and Wii remote in hand, you'll be controlling Mario, Yoshi, Donkey Kong and a host of other laced-up characters to fill your opponent's goal mouth with iron balls. Wii News | Battalion Wars 2
Wednesday 23 August 2006 A sequel to the not-quite-Advance-Wars action title has just been announced for Wii at the Leipzig Game Convention. Featuring a new (but still not exactly subtle) conflict between the stiff upper lips of the Anglo Isles and the Coral Atolls-dwelling Solar Empire, Battalion Wars 2 will also feature three online multiplayer modes - sorely missing from the original. Assault multiplayer will allow players to simply jump in and start blowing each other up, whereas Skirmish ...

Wii News | Wii
Wii three Wii news, big and small: our British sister site has three interesting reports up. The first concerns 128 Marios, a game Nintendo mentioned (and even showed a demo of) that was originally in the works for the GameCube. Yeah, we weren't exactly expecting it to come out, at this point. But it turns out that 128 Marios, did, in fact, provide the underpinnings for Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii. You can check the UK story to find out more, but be careful - it says that Galaxy is ...
