In the months leading up to the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2008, sources told IGN that a Wii remake of Kid Icarus was underway and destined to be unveiled at the event. Unfortunately, a day prior to the show, IGN learned that said project would not be on display after all. So when they met up with Nintendo mastermind Shigeru Miyamoto, they had Kid Icarus on their mind. The first question was, simply, where is Kid Icarus for Wii?

New details regarding Konami's Rock Revolution have been released. Rock Revolution is set to release with more than 40 tracks which will work similarly to current 'rhythm action' games such as Rock Band and Guitar Hero. Players can compete online and offline using one of 15 avatars or work together in co-operative modes and band competitions with up to four players.

Nintendo Wii Fanboy reports that Sega sent out a press release announcing their upcoming releases, hiding a bit of news among the tentative release dates. In the blurb about Gearbox's new version of Samba de Amigo, Sega confirmed the existence of "over 40 songs and additional downloadable tunes." Will they cost money? Probably! Given the choice between getting money and not getting money, even Sega probably knows what to choose.
