Wii - TNA Impact! - Spike TV Awards Announce Presenter, Game Previews Spike TV has announced that, at its upcoming Video Game Awards event, it will unveil previews of upcoming titles including Borderlands (2K), Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (Sony Computer Entertainment America), Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (Ubisoft) and TNA Impact (Midway).

The company also announced that the event, now in its fifth year, will be hosted by film star Samuel L. Jackson for his third consecutive year, and will also feature a first look at the new DLC Halo 3 Maps from Microsoft Game Studios.

Wii - TNA Impact! - Latest Screens and Trailer for TNA iMPACT Midway has released more info on it's highly anticipated wrestling title, "TNA iMPACT". The screens show that great detail is being shown to the character models and the trailer gives the impression that the animations are going to be pretty smooth too.

Very little detailed information about the game is shown except a preliminary character list and the announcement that it will appear on all next-gen platforms and the Playstation 2 as well.

Wii - Toki Tori - WiiWare - Toki Tori WiiWare announced Two Tribes has announced the GBC classic Toki Tori will coming to WiiWare, the Wii download service that already launched in Japan and will hit the US on May 12.

"Toki Tori for Nintendo Wii marks the entry of Two Tribes into the world of console games. Based on the critically acclaimed Game Boy Color game, this update improves the original on every front," the press release states.

"Sporting a new look, updated content and a completely overhauled Wii Remote control scheme, the game offers players of all ages a classic gaming experience while making the most out of Nintendo's Wii console."

Wii - Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent - GCHQ pleased with Tom Clancy campaign 22/01/2008

"An in-game advertising campaign run by Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) last year in two Tom Clancy videogames prompted a 500 per cent increase in activity on the related recruitment web site, it has been revealed.

The campaign, which featured billboards advertising careers at GCHQ in Ubisoft titles Splinter Cell: Double Agent and Rainbow Six: Vegas, ran for a month and was managed by TMP Worldwide, according to a report in Recruiter.

Kate Clemens, head of GCHQ's digital strategy at TMP, stated that she felt the campaign had been successful as a general profile-raising exercise, with traffic increasing from around 500-600 people per day visiting the "Careers in British Intelligence" site to between 4000 and 7000."
