Resident Evil 5 producer Jun Takeuchi says Capcom has made no concessions to the original vision of his game, despite accusations of racism.

Capcom has announced in the latest Famitsu magazine that Resident Evil (GameCube) will be ported to Wii on December 25 in Japan. This time, the game will use the Wii controller, but will also still be compatible with GameCube controller.
Capcom has revealed that profits for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2008, were up 33.4 per cent to JPY 7.8 billion, while sales for the same period were up 11.5 per cent to JPY 83 billion.
IGN writes: "Almost as if to respond to those questioning the decision to bring a port of Resident Evil 0 to the Wii, Capcom announced today that Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles has, as of February 29, topped the million mark in worldwide shipments."
