Wii - PDC World Championship Darts 2008 - PDC Darts 2008 goes for the bull on Nintendo Wii Boasting even more PDC Champions than ever before, PDC Darts 2008 will feature a full line-up of electrifying (not literally) tournaments, explains Oxygen, along with "exceptional graphic enhancements" and extra gameplay modes to test player skill to the maximum.

And, to help whet any appetites not attuned to the wonders of stepping up to the oche and banging that 501 out with a legendary nine-dart finish, PDC World Championship Darts 2008 is already blazing a fairly healthy review trail.

Wii News | PDC World Championship Darts 2008
Oct 23, 2007 After the iffy darts minigame in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz, the market has been wide open for a decent darts game on Wii. And this might just be it. PDC World Championship Darts 2008 features 16 professional darts players and their likenesses (although several are said to have asked for a few pounds to be shaved off their virtual selves, so they may be slimmer than you remember) along with facial and body motion-capture. The result is a pleasantly realistic representation of ...

Wii News from N4G | Pimp My Ride
Wii - Pimp My Ride - Pimp My Ride game planned for PS3 and Wii? Activision today released its release schedule for the coming months for Europe. Apart from all the games that already have been confirmed, Activision has listed a Pimp My Ride game for both Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii. The game is listed to come out on both platforms in Spring 2008.

There has already been a Pimp My Ride game for both Xbox 360 and Playstation 2 but this was released by MTV Games. The game was horribly bad, sold very bad and was pounded in reviews. Is this the same game, but for different platforms, or are we dealing here with a brand new Pimp My Ride game? Activision has not responded to this rumor yet.

Wii News from N4G | Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
Wii - Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - PotC: At World's End ships in Japan as a Nintendo exclusive For a blockbuster hit like the Pirates of the Caribbean, you would think that publishers would jump on the opportunity on the franchise's fame and rake in shiploads of moolah by porting it to all conceivable platforms possible.

But not Disney Interactive Studios. While Jack Sparrow and the rest of his crew will be basking under the sun across multiplatforms on U.S. shores, Japan will only find them exclusively on Nintendo platforms. That's right, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End will only be shipped for the Japanese Wii and DS.

QJ.net are just as clueless as to why Disney Interactive opted to embrace this strategy for Japan, but it seems that they are confident PotC: At World's End will do just fine, even without the help of the other platform versions. They will see just how much gold they'll be raking in with this double-edged move.

Wii News | Pokemon Battle Revolution

After the relative success of its WiiWare game, Pop, developer Nnooo has listed a number of ideas it's pitching to developers. At least one of which involves Nintendo and a Pokemon MMO.

"We have a concept for a cool Pokemon MMORPG," the development company has posted on its website.

Wii News | Pokemon Battle Revolution
First off, the title of this week's Pokemusings was ripped from a Living Colour song. If you don't know it, do yourself a favor and check out this album. It's excellent and should be part of your musical education. Now, getting back to the matter at hand, this week's column is about the mysterious attack known as Hidden Power. While some players understand this arcane attack, many do not. Hidden Power can be extremely useful in terms of rounding out your Pokemon's attacks and surprising your ...
