Wii - Metroid Prime 3: Corruption - Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Boxart Cubed3 has just stumbled onto an intriguing listing over at Newegg, which appears to show the boxart for upcoming blockbuster, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. It also looks to reveal the Teen ESRB rating, could it indicate the game is closer to release than we think? Or just an estimate?

FPS fans eagerly awaiting the release of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption could be in for quite a wait, because Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime has pledged it won't release until it's perfect. The dictator of happy fluffy kids games told MTV News: "The focus on Prime 3 is to make that the stellar game for a first-person experience on the platform. Fans of Metroid Prime's sassy heroine (or rather its sassy heroine when her armor falls off) finally have their prayers answered - she's been made into a limited edition set of figurines. Sporting her rather fetching "Zero Suit" as seen at the end of Metroid Prime 2 and in the brilliant Super Smash Bros Brawl trailer, she'll instantly bring some sunshine to even the dullest of bedrooms. Wii - Metroid Prime 3: Corruption - Mario, Metroid, Zelda DS delayed 'til Xmas 07 Reliable sources close to Nintendo have told CVG that Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption on Wii, and Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass on DS will not see light of day until Christmas 2007, which could mean anything from October to December.

CVG called Nintendo about the delays, and was told us: "We never confirmed a date for Super Mario Galaxy, but I can confirm that Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3 and Phantom Hourglass will all release in 2007. We can't confirm an exact release date for any of these titles at this time."

Wii - Metroid Prime 3: Corruption - Super Mario Galaxy for Next Christmas Wii gamers may have to wait until next Christmas before getting the chance to have a go at Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii. In a recent interview with MTV News Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime said Super Mario Galaxy will be launched sometime between March of next year and the following Christmas.

It was also revealed that Metroid Prime 3: Corruption will also not be released for the Wii until about March. In same interview Reggie said that between one and five titles will be added to the Virtual Console every Monday on a continuing basis.
