Wii - Ghost Squad - The Club delayed until 2008 - Sega confirms release dates for a number of its titles Much-anticipated Sega title The Club will miss the Christmas release window, after the publisher admitted that its release has slipped until next year.

The 360, PS3 and PC action title, which was developed by Project Gotham creators Bizarre Creations, was previously due for release at the end of this year.

Wii - Ghost Squad - Ghost Squad heads to retail with the Zapper When he took the wraps off Nintendo's new Wii Zapper peripheral at E3 in July, Nintendo's American president, Reggie Fils-Aime, said that the game would hit North America later in 2007 for US$19.99, packaged with a Nintendo-developed game.

SEGA's currently gearing up for the Japanese release of its Wii shooter, Ghost Squad, and it's announced that the game will be available in two variations when it arrives in the region on October 25: one on its own, and one including the Wii Zapper.

Wii - Ghost Squad - SEGA E3 Line-up In years past, publishers have used the Electronic Entertainment Expo to announce new games, taking advantage of the global audience tuned in to the trade show. However, as it did last year, Sega has played the bricklayer, paving its road to E3 well in advance with announcements for games such as Mario & Sonic at the Olympics, Ghost Squad, and NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams. However, while the publisher isn't using the annual trade show as a venue for its big reveal, Sega's lineup includes many games whose details have been sparse at best.

Wii - Ghost Squad - SEGA deploys the Ghost Squad for the Wii World Gaming Network says that SEGA® of America, Inc. announced the development of Ghost Squad for the Wii Console. Developed by SEGA's AM2 arcade division, Ghost Squad became a smash hit upon release and was the top-earning arcade gun game in 2005 for SEGA's arcade division. The Wii version brings the arcade experience home and adds a number of new Wii-specific gameplay modes and features. The game features the use of the Wii Remote as a multi-purpose tool that allows players to easily control the targeting of on-screen enemies, defuse bombs, and rescue hostages. The battle to eradicate global threats in Ghost Squad begins Holiday 2007.
