As you likely noticed if you've turned on a TV in the past few months, EA Sports Active is being marketed pretty heavily towards the female demographic. So you can imagine the company's surprise when, as they told Joystiq earlier today, customer satisfaction surveys from its research group indicated that the Active audience was split evenly between men and women.
EA Sports said Tuesday that EA Sports Active sold 1.8 million units during its June quarter, making the game the publisher's "best-selling Wii title ever."

So how does Peter Moore fit into all of this? Mr. Moore, in a recent blog update, poked a bit of fun at President Obama and issued a challenged of sorts regarding an EA product.
Peter Moore said in an interview with Joystiq that they want to bring the EA Sports Active franchise to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with use of the Motion Sensing technique that they release in the future. And according to Sony, we already be using this new technique on the PlayStation 3 at the beginning of 2010.
