Wii - EA Sports Active - EA Sports Active player base split evenly between men and women As you likely noticed if you've turned on a TV in the past few months, EA Sports Active is being marketed pretty heavily towards the female demographic. So you can imagine the company's surprise when, as they told Joystiq earlier today, customer satisfaction surveys from its research group indicated that the Active audience was split evenly between men and women.

Wii - EA Sports Active - EA Expanding EA Sports Active, Confirms Madden Arcade EA Sports said Tuesday that EA Sports Active sold 1.8 million units during its June quarter, making the game the publisher's "best-selling Wii title ever."

The company intends to maintain the high sales momentum through unconventional marketing and distribution that saw the game advertised on QVC and sold at Dick's Sporting Goods, for example. The success has also prompted EA to release an expansion for the game later this year.

Wii - EA Sports Active - EA want to bring EA Sports Active also to the PS3 and 360 Peter Moore said in an interview with Joystiq that they want to bring the EA Sports Active franchise to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with use of the Motion Sensing technique that they release in the future. And according to Sony, we already be using this new technique on the PlayStation 3 at the beginning of 2010.

Perhaps this is not the only game that EA Sports want to bring to the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. It is possible that there will be more similar games coming, perhaps including Grand Slam Tennis. With the advent of the new Motion Sensing technology from Sony is a world open to many casual gamers who are looking for games to improve their health.
