Rock Band is slumping and is in freefall. It seeks a parachute to soften the blow, and The Beatles could be just that; despite projected loses in 2010. As we already know, their second quarter figures aren't good; with a 41% drop in revenue for the time period. Analyst Jesse Divnich has said that the slump is to do with the rhythm genre:"

Wii - The Beatles: Rock Band - Harmonix DLC Announcements at Gamescom 2009 Speaking at Gamescom 2009, Alex Rigopulos, CEO and co-founder of Harmonix, the world's leading developer of music-based games and a part of Viacom's MTV Networks, today confirmed release details for the three Beatles albums that will be available for purchase as downloadable content in The Beatles: Rock Band Music Store by the end of this year. Abbey Road will be released on October 20, 2009, followed by the release of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band in November and Rubber Soul in December.

Additionally, Rigopulos revealed that tracks from Queen, Nirvana, Tom Petty, Elton John, Iggy Pop, The White Stripes, Pantera, Talking Heads, Korn, The Raconteurs and more will be among the artists coming to the various offerings across the Rock Band platform.

According to NME, she's still offering a controlling hand in The Beatles' affairs -- notably, The Beatles: Rock Band. "She gave the designers hell," said Paul DeGooyer, senior VP of electronic games and music at MTV.

44 of The Beatles: Rock Band Tracks Now Revealed N4G

Wii - The Beatles: Rock Band - 44 of The Beatles: Rock Band Tracks Now Revealed Hot on the back of yesterday's news that Rubber Soul and Sgt Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band are heading to The Beatles: Rock Band as downloadable albums, comes 44 of the 45 song track list.

The near complete tracklist comes courtesy of September's Game Informer that features the Fab Four on their cover and incidentally scores it 8.75. This could in fact be the full track listing seeing as Game Informer states that the "game ships with fewer songs than they've come to expect." Still, 44 is a pretty good number. I'd hate to see the licensing fees for this title! The tracks and their appropriate albums are as follows.

Wii - The Beatles: Rock Band - 3 free tracks for Beatles: Rock Band pre-order customers HMV is offering three free downloadable tracks to customers that pre-order The Beatles: Rock Band via their website.

Customers who order the Xbox 360 or PS3 version of the game will receive "an exclusive code to claim 3 free extra download tracks", the site says, though fails to mention which tracks they'll be.
