Wii - Battalion Wars 2 - Battalion Wars 2 Dated The latest issue of Nintendo Power suggests that the long-awaited sequel will arrive on September 24.

Battalion Wars 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to the original Battalion Wars on the Gamecube. It is being developed by Kuju Entertainment and is set to include online multiplayer.

Wii - Battalion Wars 2 - Wii gets 2 new online games Mario Strikers 2: Charged & Battalion Wars 2 Nintendo of Europe has announced two new games for the Wii at the Leipzig Games Convention in Germany. Super Mario Strikers 2: Charged and Battalion Wars 2.

Both feature much use of the Wii controller and even online modes via the Nintendo WiFi Connection!

Wednesday 23 August 2006 A sequel to the not-quite-Advance-Wars action title has just been announced for Wii at the Leipzig Game Convention. It's been quite a rollercoaster ride for Virtual Console updates the past several weeks. One Monday we all woke up to Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV and that was it. Is Nintendo trying to disappoint us or something? Wii - Battle Lode Runner - Virtual Console - Wii Virtual Console Gets Battle Lode Runner This Monday Hudson has updated their website and has revealed that Battle Lode Runner is the next title to hit the Wii Virtual Console on 4/23. The original platform for the game was TurboGrafx 16, so Battle Lode Runner will cost 600 Wii Points.

Wii - Battle Lode Runner - Virtual Console - Bonk takes Revenge on the Dragon's Curse, and 3 more coming to VC Hudson Soft is giving Wii owners its second dose of Bonk with Bonk's Revenge. The Turbo-Grafx 16 platformer is due sometime next month on the Virtual Console, according to the publisher's official list. Also on the list for next month are Dragon's Curse, Bravoman, Battle Lode Runner and Shockman. Bravoman stands as only the second TurboGrafx-16 game from Namco Bandai, and only the fourth title not distributed by Hudson Soft.

The first title to be released, Dragon's Curse, is scheduled for next Monday, April 2. All titles will be priced the usual 600 Wii Points for purchase. Also known for next month are three from Sega, including a 2-dimensional Virtua Fighter 2. No word on what classic titles, if any, Nintendo will release in April.

Wii - Battle of the Bands - THQ confirms fiscal 2009 video game line-up THQ has today unveiled the key titles that will form the publisher's fiscal 2009 video game line-up. Scheduled for release in the 12-month period ending March 31, 2009 are a range of new editions to existing franchises, new original games and social and party titles.

Gamers can look forward to new editions of multi-million unit franchises, including Saints Row 2, Red Faction: Geurrilla and WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009. All new video game titles on the way include Darksiders: Wrath of War, Deadly Creatures and de Blob. Additionally THQ plans to release new social and party games for the Wii, including Battle of the Bands and Big Beach Sports.
