Breaking news: Halo 3 is out right now! You already knew that? Well then here, check out this quick Digital Short we made poking fun at Master Chief, Microsoft's unstoppable hype-o-matic machine and the perils of senility. Watch as a man of questionable age looks back on his time as a Space Marine as he questions everything you thought you knew about The Great Covenant War I. (Not the official title.) It's a parody of the "Believe: An Old Fart Recollects" video that came out a few weeks ago

August 20, 2007 The denizens of underwater dystopia Rapture have always had it tough without having to worry about some downed pilot coming in to inject mysterious liquid in his wrists so he can shoot bees at their neighbors. The GamesRadar interns have seized upon this idea and crafted another marvelous short film, poking fun at what really goes on in BioShocks city of artists - not to mention what really gets the Big Daddy angry. The videos only about a minute long, so check it out. When

The GamesRadar interns are back at it again, starring in a war-time newsreel for tips on disarming your opponent using Metal Gear Solid 4s new tactics. Head here to see Hideo Kojimas 15-minute demo at the recent MGS 20th anniversary event and scroll to 3:10 in the clip. We think the new moves are slightly ridiculous. What do you think? Tell us in our forums. When you're done, check out The history of Resident Evil, another GR acting endeavor. Take a look below and be kind about the

18th Dec, 2007 There are some things that developers and publishers just don't want you to know. And given the unnaturally high number of game announcements, hardware revelations, industry shake-ups, and all round cool things going on this year, they've wanted you to not know a lot during 2007. Thankfully though, the internet exists, and thus nothing is sacred. That's the eternal irony of the games industry. It's a business which tries to shroud itself in secrecy, but whose patrons congregate

It's the end of another great year for gamers. Two new systems launched. Two handhelds waged bloody battle. And next gen gaming got a big kick in the pants - thanks to a year of lonely rule by the Xbox 360. PC gaming fought fire with nukes, waging its battle against the console-based onslaught. In short, it ruled. How do we handle this? We're handing out our gleaming Platinum Chalice to those games and systems which gave us the business. No boring list of 37 different strategy games, divided

Oct 4, 2007 The Hollywood scriptwriter given the responsibility of penning the silver screen adaptation of Epic's Gears of War has said that movie will be an "enormous film." Speaking to GamePro.com, Stuart Beattie, whose writing credits include Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, explained that it's likely the Gears movie will be shot entirely on green screen like 300. "There's no way to build that world any other way, really," he said. "That's a huge world. It's a

Oct 29, 2007 Last Friday, the cream of the games industry gathered in London town for the Golden Joysticks awards, the only videogame awards voted for by you, the gamers on the ground. And, thanks to real gamers like yourselves, Gears of War walked away with the Ultimate Game of the Year 2007 accolade, beating off competition from Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Wii Sports and Final Fantasy XII. Well done, Epic. GoW's heavy action shooterthon also scored the Xbox Game of the Year 2007
