Cabela’s, the retail chain specializing in hunting, fishing, camping and other outdoor activities that gamers are too busy pushing buttons to participate in, has been releasing their Big Game Hunter series since the late-90s. Armed with a trailer decked out in the finest of faux hunting parephenalia and foliage, they came by GamesRadar headquarters today to show off their latest installment in this popular series as well as the new title under the Cabela’s umbrella, Survival: Shadows of Katmai...

An updated version of seminal sports game California Games has been confirmed for release on Wii, DS and PSP next year. California Games will also include bonus features from Winter Games and Summer Games. A refreshed Impossible Mission will also be released.
California Games was a huge success for original developer Epyx in the late '80s, spanning over 10 platforms including Atari's doomed Lynx handheld and Sega's Mega Drive. The new game aims to preserve the magic of

The Wii version of Call of Duty 3 will take full advantage of the machine's motion-sensitive controllers - although, incredibly, the missions will be the same as those of the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.
"We were quite surprised that we didn't have to adapt the single-player game," says the World War II shooter's executive producer Marcus Iremonger. "There are a few minor changes we had to do, but not gameplay-wise. It works pretty well: you're not in any way hindered,
We've got hold of two videos that demonstrate the intensity of action that you can expect from Call of Duty 3, the WWII first-person shooter due for release this November.
Both videos - available on the Movies tab above - show how you'll get assistance and orders from the AI soldiers that fight alongside you. The AI help is one of the game's strengths with you never left to play the super-solider and take on the enemy by yourself - instead there's always the feeling of being part of a

If you're looking for a bit of warfare to round out your upcoming Wii purchases, these new Call of Duty 3 shots, available on the images tab above, show that it's maintained the series' feel - if not quite the next-gen visual oomph - on Nintendo's
We've got a new video of Call of Duty 3 gameplay footage to offer today. It's apparently taken from the Xbox 360 version of the game currently in development (we spotted the blue X button on the menus) but we expect the PS3 and Wii versions won't be far off. The video features everything you want to see in Call of Duty - exploding tanks, sneak attacks, surprise grenades and, in the climactic finale, a desperate dagger attack from a crazed Nazi, complete with "blut und ehre" - "blood and honor"
Call of Duty 3 was officially confirmed this morning by Activision. The latest chapter in the World War II shooter series is currently in development for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 2 and Xbox. All versions are due to be released this fall.
Very little was announced beyond those core details. We do know that the game deals with the Liberation of Paris, which pegs the action in late 1944. That was the final stage of Operation Overlord, better known to many as the

When Wii hits the shops at the end of the year, it'll play host to next-gen versions of both Tony Hawk's and Call of Duty, according to publisher Activision.
Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam and Call of Duty 3 are set for release in autumn, and will feature in the launch line-up for Nintendo's newly rechristened console. However, despite hitting several current and next-gen systems, Call of Duty 3 won't be striking a beachhead on PC.
This info was beamed to our eyes at

Following our Call of Duty 3 first-look from yesterday, we've managed to get hold of some screenshots of the Wii version of Activision's World War II shooter.
Treyarch will be tailoring the latest in the Call of Duty series to make use of Wii's motion sensing controller, but when we spoke to an Activision representative last week he wasn't too clear of just how.
Looking at the screens, however (see the images tab for more), is seems as though the remote will be used to
It might sound melodramatic, but by the looks of this new trailer for Call of Duty 3 on Wii, the motion-sensitive war will leave you just as physically exhausted as if you'd actually fought through the Battle of the Bulge, while bayoneting half of Nazi Germany's men folk in the process.
Well, maybe it's not that demanding. But if you hit the movies tab above to watch the vid, you'll see Call of Duty expects plenty of mime-artist soldiering from you throughout its war torn battles - reloading,
