According to our sister site Next Generation, a PSP price drop to $149 may well be in the cards. Sony's handheld been getting spanked by Nintendo since the DS Lite was introduced, and high-paid analysts peg the company as likely to slash $50 from the system's price this fall. Well, those godawful thumb theater commercials can't be helping sales, but saving more than the price of a new game might... particularly now that gamers have to buy a Memory Stick, too, since the accessory-laden

Developer Marvelous is bringing its wonderful farming RPG adventure Harvest Moon to Nintendo Wii.
Most of the farming work will be carried out using the console's motion sensing remote; fields have to be hoed, plants watered and crops harvested all by carrying out the equivalent movements with the Wii-mote, according to Japanese games magazine Famitsu.
Harvest Moon is a beautiful game, where the objective is to manage a farm over a number of years and interact with the

In a Newsdump first, we're linking to ourselves. Today, we brought you the first images of the PlayStation 3 in the same room as the Xbox 360 - perhaps even doing naughty things together (they're much closer than we ever envisioned.) As Neo GAF poster Wario64 eloquently pointed out, "It's huge lol" - the PS3 is significantly larger than Microsoft's new console, in a distinct role reversal from the prior generation, when the original Xbox threatened to crush the PS2. We're
Bet you never expected the worst affliction you'd pick up from slaughtering zombies is eyestrain. Most reviewers are in agreement with us - Dead Rising is a hell of a lot of fun. What isn't fun is trying to read the game's tiny text if you're playing the game without a crisp, clear and huge HDTV. If you're stuck in standard definition, the text in the game is so tiny that - even on a decent-sized TV - it's hard or impossible to read, rendering some of the game's content
Cheap HD? We'll see
According to statements made during the latest podcast from Microsoft's number one paid fanboy Major Nelson, the HD-DVD add-on for the Xbox 360 will be the cheapest HD-DVD player on the market when it comes out. Since you can pick one up for about 500 bucks these days, we're more than a little skeptical that this is true. We're guessing you don't figure in the price of the Xbox 360 hardware - Microsoft may well be pretending that isn't a factor. Unfortunately, they're not

PlayStation worldwide studios captain Phil Harrison told British newspaper The Guardian that he would be "amazed if the PlayStation 4 has a physical disc drive." Seems odd talk from a man still struggling to convince the world it needs the PlayStation 3 - and its Blu-ray drive.
According to Harrison, there are "right now more than 100 Blu-ray movies available today, in the US." Problem is, Phil, even when we give you credit for instant classics like Ultraviolet and Basic
In today's newly released teaser trailer, Electronic Arts has announced a new installment of the NBA Street series - and that's about it. The video makes a point that everyday people need relatable heroes and that idolized hero should be a basketball superstar who also stays true to his roots. Street fans'll just be happy to see the urban/aggressive NBA counterpart return.
Right now, the game's being called, simply, NBA Street, which is sure to cause all kinds of fun Google and Ebay moments
You must click the Movies tab above. You must bear witness to the most amazing video for any Star Wars game ever (and, yes, that includes the Lego Star Wars videos that combine Yoda's head with Leia's golden bikini-clad torso). Keep in mind that this video (leaked a week ago on YouTube and now released officially by LucasArts as the mother of all teasers) is what gaming industry-heads call "target video" and so is not actually of any in-game footage or a tech-demo as previously reported, but

Ubisoft has confirmed that Prince of Persia will be coming to Wii, further proving that the Splinter Cell and Rayman creator is firmly behind the Nintendo console.
We reported last week that Prince of Persia had mysteriously appeared on Ubisoft's French website, although it was hastily removed and the existence of the game remained in question - until now.
No additional information about the game has been released, although when it was accidentally revealed on Ubi's
