Its position: violent video games cause harm to minors. This supposed ‘harm’ has ranged from vague to fantastic in their legal briefs, but a new study from Yale is set to poke a huge hole in its boat.
Rani Desai, associate professor of psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine sums up the study’s findings very neatly: “Gaming does not appear to be dangerous to kids. We found virtually no association between gaming and negative health behaviors, particularly in boys"...

Today Nintendo revealed the next four classic Wii titles to earn the "Nintendo Selects" treatment - Super Paper Mario, Mario Strikers Charged, Punch-Out!! and Super Mario Galaxy, one of this generation's best games period. As of August 28, each will be marked at $19.99 and semi-ruined with gawdy red packaging. Serious (i.e. anal retentive) collectors should hit stores ASAP to scoop up the remaining white-boxed copies marked down to $20 before the Selects versions are all that's left!

Konami has said that the Leipzig convention later this week will play host to Hideo Kojima unveiling his new, undisclosed in-game themes for Metal Gear Solid 4 on PS3 with a new trailer.
The event will also be a platform for the firm to showcase Winning Eleven Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, Castlevania The Dracula X Chronicles and Silent Hill Origins for PSP, and Dewy's Adventure on Wii.
