We've invested a frightening amount of man hours into Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, so yesterday's news that Nintendo is releasing Pokemon Farm - which will support link-up with the two DS games - as a downloadable WiiWare title made us happy as a hog in filth. Pokemon Farm might be the graphical equivalent of an inbred bumpkin, but we just know it's going to charm the mud off our wellies. How much of a gaming harvest Pokemon Farm will actually produce isn't entirely clear, but we're already sold on the very simple fact that we'll be able to liberate our Diamond and Pearl monsters from their DS confinement and wander amongst the free-range monsters with our Mii. And, yes, we know that with another Pokemon spin-off Nintendo is blatantly milking the cash cow, but if the udder is still swollen, why not keep squeezing the teats?
