i wasnt too crazy about it being on the wii, but i just bought it and i know i wont regret it at all. the graphics are a little better and the online play is amazing. this is a game i highly recommend.
Kind of sad that there's no gunlances. Doesn't look like there's any Felynes either. Who's gonna cook my meals? ;) Excited about the split-screen aspect. This will bring me back to my Wii, though I can't help but wonder why this didn't cross over to the PS3.

Monster Hunter is one of those game series that, despite the best efforts of everyone involved, has yet to attain the explosive popularity in North America that it has overseas. We spent most of our youth hacking up make believe monsters. Tree stumps, bushes, neighbours’ pets – all it takes is a bit of imagination and no friends. It’s the key difference between gamers and non-gamers. The non-gamers embraced the magic of childhood looking for Where the Wild Things Are. We, on the other hand, asked Where the Wild Things Are Because We Want to Hit Them With Rakes. Gamers are destructive.
