The MP games are a unique bunch of titles and, to be honest, the artstyle being so timeless makes the graphical shortcomings almost a non issue. MP3 is barely different from the first games visually and is still one of the most pleasing on the Wii.
Great chance for people unfamiliar with the series to catch up with Retro's incredible work and for us vets a good price to relive past events with MP3 controls.
But, for the love of God, why no online MP? If the farmed out DS Metroid game, Hunters, could manage it why on earth can't Ninty and the masters of the series? Seriously, unless Dread, MP4, a new Retro IP or the sidestory from the Space Pirates POV isn't in the works for E3 reveal then just why didn't they pit it in?
I'm probaley gonna buy this game. along with any other good new play control games because I'm sick of not having any nintendo games and play mario and zelda weither I already played it or not
OH crap! I am excited for this, but now, between this and The Conduit, Nintendo has their hardcore line-up for E3. Dang it . . . I was hoping for something better.
@Dualcarrot stop being a 360/ps3 fanboy if you dont like the metroid games dont buy them and its 3 games learn to read they are not a waste money bioshock 2 and cod4/2 are horriable ideas they are just cash ins of really good games
Truthfully the new play control feature seems nothing more then a stupid gimmick most of the time. I wish they would actually give us new games that utilize the new controls then simply refurbishing a game I dont care to play again. (Except maybe Duke Nukem 64 :)
)
But this particular set is something i will probably pick up. Metroid Prime was a brilliant series. I never got to play 2 and getting all three with visual updates and wii controls for the other two sounds like a good deal. It actually makes this worth it.
