WiiWare World bring you the Mega Man 9 challenge list:
Capcom Entertainment, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today announced that Mega Man® 9 is now available for download on Nintendo's WiiWare service, and will be available for the PLAYSTATION®Network on September 25, and Xbox LIVE® Arcade on October 1.
Today Nintendo adds four new & classic games to the Wii Shop Channel. This week's new games are: Mega Man 9 (WiiWare), Plattchen twist 'n' paint (WiiWare), Super Dodge Ball (NES), and Vectorman (Sega Genesis).
Ha, get it? "Concrete?" And there's a picture of Concrete Man, and... oh, forget it.
While it's only been a few months since we first heard about Capcom's retro Mega Man 9, it feels like we've been waiting forever. Well the wait is nearly over, as the first and second releases of Mega Man 9 hit next week! September 22nd will see the game show up via WiiWare, which should make the Weekly Wii Update a little more exciting than usual. Then on the 25th the game will appear on the PlayStation Network. Finally, after weathering nearly a week and a half of insufferable taunting, Xbox 360 owners will be able to download the Xbox Live Arcade version on October 1st. Looks like it's WiiWare for me!
Another source, allegedly a member of the press, has come out to say that the previous rumor of DLC is false, but there may be something close enough instead. Additionally, their "review isn't allowed to go up until after the 22nd." A possible release date confirmation?
A number of rumors have sprung up surrounding Mega Man 9, including a possible release date, downloadable content, and some interesting comparisons drawn between the Wii, PS3, and 360 versions, the latter of which is said to have had the Achievements added by Capcom USA.

If a new retro-style Mega Man game has you excited, what about the prospect of two soundtracks to go with it?
Since Mega Man 9's 8-bit style was first revealed, many have asked (often in jest) whether or not the new old game would also have the flicker and slowdown which plagued many of its predecessors. Now, thanks to Producer Hironobu Takeshita, we have our answer.

Capcom reveals that Xbox 360 GamerPics and Themes should be happening at some point, and that the popular Mega Man 9 "box art" shirts are on the way!
Sporting phrases like "ultrasound graphics synthesis" and "8-bit fidelity engine" you can tell straightaway that this creation has its tongue firmly in its cheek! Compared to the original Mega Man and Mega Man 2 box art by Capcom USA at least this is an evolution in art style.

The Mega Man Network writes: "Capcom of Japan's Rockman 9 website went live last night, with tons of new and old information streamlined from the older sites they had.
So far, games downloaded from Nintendo's Wii Shop Channel have remained split into two distinct categories; classics from the Virtual Console and all-new efforts on WiiWare. But Capcom is throwing a welcomed wrench into the system with the fall release of Mega Man 9, a title that mixes old and new – namely, a classic 8-bit graphical presentation with ground-up levels and play mechanics.
Videogamer reports that according to Japanese video game website Famitsu, Capcom will be charging 1000 Wii Points for its all new, yet retro, WiiWare title Mega Man 9.
We've seen a lot of gaming magazines rise and fall the past few years, considerably more if you go all the way back to the industry's heyday in the '80s. The way the magazine market is today, it's a major accomplishment when one makes it to 100 issues. Consider then, the milestone that is the 20th anniversary issue of ...

When Mega Man 9 was slipped by the Aussies, it was listed as multi-platform. When we got official word that the game would be coming to WiiWare, Capcom's Christian Svensson commented, "I will also say, NP [Nintendo Power, the original source of the news] only has part of the story. More to be learned later." All signs pointed to the inevitable presence of the game on Xbox live Arcade and PlayStation Network, which was confirmed yesterday via a Capcom E3 roster. Not so true.
