A group of famous chiptune artists from around the world will be creating remixes of some of the best themes from the Mega Man series for release on October 15 in Japan. Even more surprising is that it's a Capcom-sanctioned product, and will be released on the in-house Suleputer label. It will be interesting to hear what it's all about given that the source material was written in chiptune format. OSV has the full list of contributing artists.
The undisovered secret in Mega Man 9 has been teased for a long time. The mystery actually goes all the way back to last year. However, Capcom hasn't budged in terms of revealing the mystery.

Capcom's Kenji Inafune recently discussed titles developed by Clover Studios. Though Clover no longer exists, Capcom would still be able to create more titles for Viewtiful Joe, Okami, and God Hand. Inafune, however, has expressed zero interest in creating any new games for Viewtiful Joe, Okami, and God Hand, stating that "it's not very likely or appealing."

Capcom has announced that they will be releasing the second DLC pack for Mega Man 9 this week. The update will contain two new difficulty modes and a special attack time stage.
Capcom has revealed that the coveted Mega Man 9 press kits, one of which recently fetched an astounding $750 on eBay, will be made available in their online store today for the low, low price of $49.95. Supplies are limited, and they'll be going on a first come, first serve basis. Be sure to read all the details so that you don't come up short.
Capcom is giving some DLC love to the fairly recently released title, Mega Man 9. Capcom has announced that new DLC (downloadable content) will arrive on WiiWare today, with the Xbox LIVE Arcade release coming tomorrow (10/7/08) and the PlayStation Network release coming on Thursday (10/9/08). The additional DLC provides a new gameplay mode and a new playable character, Proto Man. More challenges to a very challenging game.
If you're one of those who find the Mega Man 9 DLC evil and harsh, then it's time to shake a fist in the air and scream "BISOOOOON!" As of right now, you can officially purchase Endless Attack and the Protoman character for Mega Man 9 via WiiWare.

Mega Man 9 officially launched on the PSN, XBLA, and WiiWare services a few days ago. There are not many sales figures to dissect as of yet since the game essentially just released, though Capcom is somewhat pleased with the numbers thus far.
Today Nintendo of Europe and Australia added new games to the Wii Shop Channel. The new WiiWare games are: Mega Man 9, Strong Bad Episode 2: Strong Badia the Free, and Helix.
