Kotaku: Wii owners, you may soon have four new games to play at budget-friendlier prices. According to retail sources, Nintendo will update its Nintendo Selects budget line with Super Paper Mario, Mario Strikers Charged, Punch-Out!! and Super Mario Galaxy in August.

To celebrate the launch of Mario Super Sluggers, Charles Martinet, the voice actor for Mario, Luigi, Wario, and more will be in attendance at the Nintendo World Store in Manhattan on August 24th, signing autographs and giving out a mysterious special gift from Nintendo to those who purchase the new Mario sports title.
Today Nintendo revealed a few upcoming games to the Wii and DS gaming systems. Every of the (so far) 42 characters will have his/her/its own unique batting and pitching powers (super moves). For examples Mario swings away with a fireball, Princess Peach spreads the love, Luigi's swing generates a whirlwind, and Waluigi pitches in an arching rainbow.
We were surprised to hear Nintendo announce a brand new game at its spring media summit this morning - we were not surprised that said game was another Mario sports title. Mario Super Sluggers will arrive in Japan in June and elsewhere "later this year," featuring the requisite number of mascot characters and suitably silly gameplay.
