Mario Strikers Charged

Today Nintendo revealed the next four classic Wii titles to earn the "Nintendo Selects" treatment - Super Paper Mario, Mario Strikers Charged, Punch-Out!! and Super Mario Galaxy, one of this generation's best games period. As of August 28, each will be marked at $19.99 and semi-ruined with gawdy red packaging. Serious (i.e. anal retentive) collectors should hit stores ASAP to scoop up the remaining white-boxed copies marked down to $20 before the Selects versions are all that's left!

Nintendo confirmed via email that they have stopped producing and shipping Mario Strikers Charged, Battalion Wars 2, and Wario Land: Shake It! Why would Nintendo stop producing and shipping these games now?

Nike and Honda aren't the only people doing hybrids now. Dave Bondi's AKASHI figure is a great smash-up of two of the worlds most noticeable characters, Mickey and Mario. The physical features of both melt together seamlessly as each lend a hand into creating something new. AKASHI stands a proud 9? tall and is limited to only 200 pieces.

9th Dec, 2008 Just what in the hell is going on with Mario and Peach? It was so simple back in the old NES days of Super Mario Bros. She got herself kidnapped, he went after her with the help of Luigi, and all ended happily ever after. Or so we thought. The thing is that it didn't really. It's become ever more apparent that since that first rescue things have only ever got messier, dirtier and more manipulative in their relationship. Far from the innocent damsel and hero set-up that appeared

20th Dec, 2007 Gaming is an up and down experience. Some years cram top quality titles into our every orifice until were bursting with videogame joy and have excess polygons dripping messily out of our ears, while some other years… Well, some other years are 1983. In 2007 though, weve had a very good year indeed. A scarily good year in fact. One which has provided us so much brilliance on every format that its a genuine worry that the laws of karmic balance will soon bring us a plague

Nintendo revealed six first party-published Wii games that have sold over a million copies worldwide on October 26. IGN reports five out of the six: 1. Wii Sports: 11.1 million 2. Wii Play: 6.3 million 3. Mario Party 8: 2.9 million 4. Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree: 1.8 million 5. Mario Strikers Charged: 1.3 million IGN has apparently made an error and omitted the sixth title. According to user comments at IGN and Wikipedia, the missing title could be either The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (3.61 million), Wario Ware: Smooth Moves (1.82 million), or Super Paper Mario (1.74 million).
