Continuing the Mario Party tradition of running around circular arenas dodging attacks and avoiding holes, new running-around-circular-arenas-dodging-attacks-and-avoiding-holes games have been added. One three-on-one game has the three slipping on an icy roof as the evil one shoots snowballs at them, while a futuristic offering has him in an electrified hovercraft trying to bump the three into an electro-death pit below. Nice.

When players aren’t trying to punch a Bowser statue to dust, the usual board trudging takes over, jazzed up with a sweets-munching feature that transforms players into springs and balls. To quote the song “Mama Told Me (Not to come)”: “This is the craziest party there could ever be.” Maybe.
