Mario Kart Wii in UK this year

Plus Smash Bros Brawl to slip beyond Christmas in Europe, suggests latest rumors

Rumors of Wii's Mario Kart turning up soon have been flying around for a while and the latest rumblings suggest the game will be out this year for the UK.

N-Europe reports that "trusted sources"  have revealed that the game will turn up at E3 this week. Nothing else is known about the game's release.

Interestingly, it's also rumored that Nintendo will use Mario Kart on Wii to soften the blow of Super Smash Bros. Brawl not releasing in Europe this year. Conversely, it's suggested that the US will get Smash Bros. this year, but not Mario Kart.

All will be revealed later this week.
