Resident Evil 5 is finally out on Friday the 13th. There's a regular and Collector's Edition to choose from for the PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360, as well as a limited edition red Xbox 360 bundle for Resident Evil 5.

Wii gamers may not be getting Resident Evil 5, but they have their own blood red exclusive with MadWorld from SEGA. Also for the Wii are the first GameCube game re-releases (New Play Control series), Mario Power Tennis and Pikmin.

Kotaku: Upcoming black, white and red Wii title MadWorld is a unique looking game. It runs, however, in 480i and not the more HD-kosher 480p.

Surprised? IGN's Matt Casamassina noticed the game was running in 480i while capturing MadWorld videos. "Usually, lack of 480p support can be credited to developer laziness," writes Casamassina. "No way such a claim can be leveled at Platinum Games or MadWorld... I'm wondering, then, if the studio simply wasn't aware that 480p is 'kind of a big deal' for a chunk of Wii owners."

Amazon is selling MadWorld in addition to Sonic and the Black Knight right now for $39.97 each. That is $10.02 lower than the regular MSRP. MadWorld will be released on March 10th for the Nintendo Wii while Sonic and the Black Knight is slated for March 3rd.
