Wii is all about encouraging people to approach gaming with an open, unbiased mind. If Nintendo can slowly lure mothers and daughters away from motherly and daughterly things to play Nintendogs for hours on end, then surely Electronic Arts can do the same with Madden and sports-hating gamers. The game itself is already leaning that way, but the fast-paced minigames might make Madden NFL 07 for Wii an irresistible party game.
How is this even possible? The Wii motion controls, that's how.

Take a look at your collection of games. Probably don't see any Madden games over there, do you? As either a major Nintendo fan or hardcore gamer, you likely scratch your head every August when the latest version dumps itself on the rabid sports crowd. You couldn't possibly care less about playing any football game, much less a stat-ruled, playbook-heavy simulator that demands a keen understanding of everything NFL.

If you've been scouring the web for any information whatsoever on Madden NFL 07 for the Wii, you already know that the developers are rebuilding it around the unique, motion-sensitive "nunchuck" controller.
