Masahiro Sakurai has admitted that he is in talks about bringing Kid Icarus to the 3DS eShop.
Yoshio Sakamoto, one of the creators behind popular Nintendo platformer Kid Icarus, says Nintendo hasn't ruled out bringing a new title in the series to the Wii, they just haven't yet figured out how to. I don't know personally about any project underway regarding Kid Icarus, but if so many of those people are interested in it and really want to see it on the Wii they should really speak up, Sakamoto told Kotaku in an interview today.

Everyone is pretty much aware with the situation of Factor 5 and Kid Icarus. The company has been rumored to be developing a new title in the series for Wii for quite some time now. However, according to new speculation, the projects that Factor 5 have in development are not Kid Icarus-related.

Kid Icarus Wii may still come together if Factor 5 can find someone to give them lots of money (hint: Nintendo has lots of money).

Kid Icarus Wii has moved from fantasy to reality and that's a very good thing.
