Harry Potter's latest videogame outing continues to dominate the UK charts - no doubt thanks to the recent launch of the film to which it ties in and last Saturday's release of the final book in JK Rowling's witches and wizards series.
EA has just launched the official website for the upcoming Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix videogame. While Joystiq only grudgingly admit their penchant for Potter and pals, this latest game looks like it might contain real magic after all. Sandbox-style mission-based gameplay "inspired" by GTA lets you explore Hogwarts on your own schedule, reliving moments from the book along the way. The Wii version of the multiplatform game looks especially interesting with its motion-sensitive spell casting.
Games developing giant, Electronic Arts has just launched the official web site for the game version of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The web site is currently incomplete and the UK version is the only one available for public viewing.
EA's recreation of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will boast a new gesture-based spellcasting system that lets you perform magic with motions on PS3 and Wii.
