20th Dec, 2007 Gaming is an up and down experience. Some years cram top quality titles into our every orifice until were bursting with videogame joy and have excess polygons dripping messily out of our ears, while some other years… Well, some other years are 1983. In 2007 though, weve had a very good year indeed. A scarily good year in fact. One which has provided us so much brilliance on every format that its a genuine worry that the laws of karmic balance will soon bring us a plague

Game Informer have just sent out their newest edition to American stores nationwide and this months' review scores can be found below. Super Mario Galaxy receives the game of the month award, while Rock Band also impresses. Time Crisis 4, Soul Caliber: Legends and Jenga were this months' worst games. Rock Band (PS3/Xbox 360/PS2, EA): 9,25 / 9,25 F.E.A.R. Files (Xbox 360, Sierra): 6,5 / 7 Beowulf (PS3/Xbox 360, Ubisoft): 5,75 / 5 Kane & Lynch: Dead Men (PS3/Xbox 360, Eidos): 7 / 7,25 Warhammer 40,000: Squad Command (NDS, THQ): 8 / 8,5 MX vs. ATV Untamed (Xbox 360/PS3, THQ): 8 / 8,25 Scene It? Nov 28, 2007 As you should have noticed by now, the on-screen cursor for the Wii Remote does not appear directly where you're pointing it at the sensor bar. Lift the Remote to your eye and look down the length of it at your TV - like a gun - and you'll see what we mean. This is because there's no calibration screen. How does the Wii know when you're pointing at the edge of your TV? It doesn't, because it doesn't know how big your TV is. So instead it scales your movements roughly, like a 3D
