First FIFA 08 trailer arrives

EA has released the first trailer of FIFA 08, the latest iteration of its best-selling soccer franchise. The teaser shows a player in Barcelona kit, running with the ball over 3D grass before burying a long-range shot.  If it is representative of in-game animation on PS3 and 360, it looks as though the game will make use of animation-blending so movement remains smooth under slow-motion conditions. Definitely a good thing.

Of course, it is only a teaser, so it's too early to say anything featured in it is sure to be included. Except for Barcelona - that's a given. We'll hoof more solid details your way as soon as we have them.
