Aug 23, 2007 Hold items are absolutely essential for Pokemon battles. Pretty much every Pokemon trainer out there knows the value of pairing the right hold item with the right Pokemon. Naming your Pokemon is a vital but often overlooked part of the Pokemon games. Hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of people play Pokemon games without giving any thought to naming the Pokemon they catch. This, we think, is criminal. After all, you don't name your dog "Dog" or your cat "Cat." So why should you stick with species names like Charmander, Pikachu, or Togepi?!? We understand that Ash and his friends do this in the animated series so that viewers can learn the names of each ...

We've been playing a lot of Pokemon recently. But is it too much? Here's how to tell. If any of the following sound familiar, it might be time to take a break. At around 193 million units versus Pokémons 155 million, Mario may have sold more games overall, but considering the wide variety of stuff he stars in and the length of time hes been around; Pokémon is arguably the more significant videogame phenomenon. Using legendary Pokemon in battles is a piece of cake. Their stats are higher than normal and their move pools are generally broader than those of standard Pokemon. Even without proper training and with an unbalanced move set, it's pretty easy to win a battle using legendary Pokemon. You don't need a whole lot of skill to win this way. If you're a Pokemon master in the making then you're probably working hard at training standard Pokemon. Being victorious with regular Pokemon is a true ...
