Baroque’s introductory trailer mixes intense artys-fartsy anime stylings with action RPG gameplay, much like another grandiloquent Atlus franchise. While details at this stage are sparse, it appears that the game will deal with sturdy Christian themes like apocalypse, guilt and redemption but with an awesome Japanese demonic sci-fi bent (and requisite wailing guitars.) Baroque is scheduled for both Wii and PS2; we’re already presupposing that this one will play better with a DualShock than a Wiimote. If you’re interested in that kind of thing…
