Time traveling with Link

See how 20 years of adventuring has transformed Link from a tiny sprite into the man he is today

Words: James Jarvis

It's 1991 and four years have past since gamers got their last helping of Link. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, the first and only Zelda released for SNES, returned to the more traditional top down style of the original. It also introduced multi-level dungeons and parallel words which were soon to become staple features of the Zelda series.

Link to the Past sold over four million copies when first released, and many consider this to be one of the best Zelda games of the entire series.
