Mortal Kombat? King of the bloody games, easy. Doom? No better feeling than perforating demons from hell into pulpy heaps. Dead Rising ? Trauma Center?  Gears of War? Yep, yep, yep - seen 'em. You've played these visceral thrills already - hell, everybody has.

What you need, as a true connoisseur of violence, are the bloody games that everyone else missed. Maybe these games came out when some other game was getting all the attention; maybe they're a little older than your friends' memories; maybe they simply had nothing else better going for them than copious amounts of crimson corpuscles.
