Yet another Pokemon that doesn't learn any moves once it evolves. Keep Vulpix around until you're ready to move along to Ninetales, a Pokemon based on a legendary fox spirit (echoes of it appear in Naruto as well). If you cross a Nintetales, you could end up with a thousand-year curse on your hands. Compared to Arcanine, Ninetales lacks firepower, both in literal Fire-type moves and overall attack/special attack stats.
