When you're trying to bag legendary Pokemon, someone like Oddish is extremely helpful. Well, more like Gloom or Vileplume, but the idea is the same - it's a Pokemon loaded with status attacks that paralyze, induce sleep and poison the enemy. Even its main attacks, Absorb and Mega Drain, work overtime by restoring your hit points. Oddish's opposing Grass/Poison type also lets it soak up hits that might otherwise knock it flat.
