Pokemon: Destiny Deoxys

Plot: Ash travels to a futuristic city to compete in a tournament. There he encounters a pansy that's afraid of Pokemon. They also discover a Deoxys looking for its mate. Through a series of misunderstandings, Deoxys endangers the city's inhabitants. Oh yeah, Rayquaza also gets pissed off and tries to attack Deoxys. Rayquaza also shows complete indifference to the massive collateral damage it causes. It's up to Ash to save the day from... misunderstandings?

Star Pokemon: Deoxys. Duh.

Enemy Pokemon: Again, there aren't any true "bad guys" here, but Deoxys and Rayquaza give the people a lot to be scared of.

Why this movie sucks: The writers of these movies need bad guys. Otherwise it's just "Ash Ketchum vs. A Disastrous Misunderstanding". Similar to Pokemon 3, the plot sucks and there's no moral to the story. After the completely unnecessary danger Ash and the gang go through, things just get completely ridiculous when the conflict is resolved. Seeing Ash and friends fly around happily with Deoxys and Rayquaza is just stupid... and smiling Rayquaza scares the beejezus out of us.
