Halloween is right around the corner and we thought it would be a great time to look at five really scary Pokemon. It would be easy to go with some obviously frightening Pokes (Rayquaza, Mewtwo) or some that are just flat-out ugly (Swampert, Electivire). Instead, we're going to take a look at five Pokemon that weren't meant to be scary, but for some reason or another scare the crap out of us. Prepare for this list of "five unintentionally scary Pokemon!"

5) Aipom/Croagunk - Both of these Pokemon have large smiles permanently etched on their faces. Their expressions never change, and that's frickin' scary! No matter what the situation, Aipom and Croagunk always sport their abnormally large smiles. Their commitments to showing off their pearly whites is unwavering and, let's face it, battling against an enemy that's always smiling is just unnerving (Batman can confirm this). What insidious plots hide behind the smile? What nasty and vile thoughts lie beneath the grin? We may never know. However, Aipom and Croagunk will always know…and they'll always be smiling.
