Today's WiiWare and Wii Virtual Console releases have been announced by Nintendo. Here's the games which will be available starting at 9am PST: WiiWare Release: Evasive Space (Yukes Company of America, 1-4 players, Rated E for Everyone – Mild Fantasy Violence, 1,000 Wii Points) Virtual Console Release: Life Force (NES, 1-2 players, Rated E for Everyone – Mild Fantasy Violence, 500 Wii Points)

The company announced Wednesday the official launch of Akinai Games, a digital distribution-focused division that will create games for Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and WiiWare. Yuke's is also considering creating games for PC and mobile platforms through Akinai.
