It's helpful, don't get us wrong, but they really should spend some time working on spell check's virtual intuition. When we typed "Firefox," just now while writing this article, the red line asked if we meant "firebox." Um no, we didn't. And that's what happens countless times every second across the world when people type in video game names - ...

The original title was an early release for Konami on Nintendo's console, tasking the player with finding hidden Elebits/Eledees within domestic settings, like a treasure hunt. With electricity.
For all its creepy storytelling and Precious Moments-style character designs, Elebits is really nothing more than an elaborate game of hide and seek. Hundreds of electricity-spewing critters have gotten loose and it's your job to turn your house upside down and find them all. As you gather more of these living battery cells, objects in the area will activate, further empowering your proton pack - er, capture gun - to the point where it can lift chairs, refrigerators and eventually, entire ...
We all know how annoying it is to lose something in your own home. During the ensuing room-to-room search, sofas are shuffled, TV stands tipped over and don't even get us started on old jeans pockets. Can you imagine what it would be like if, instead of car keys, you lost a million cuddly personifications of electricity and all the appliances in your house went down? That's super bogus. Luckily, the Wii remote in Elebits functions as a beam-shooting capture gun, ...
With its Japanese and US launch just days away, a selection of new Elebits shots - Konami's intriguing new hide 'n' seek game for Wii - has come out of hiding.

Elebits are curious little creatures that act as the game world's source of energy, so things go pear-shaped when they decide to go on strike. What makes it worse is that the cheeky 'Bits have hidden themselves as well.

The job of the gamer is to try to find the Elebits using the unique capabilities of the ...
Hidden creatures crying out for the catching: that pitch initially sounded so cynical. It would be easy to write Elebits off as a lazy recharging of Pokemania against a domestic backdrop that calls to mind Chibi-Robo or even Toy Story.
Konami's first game for the Wii is Elebits. The publisher has now released its first movie for the game, and while it doesn't contain any gameplay footage, it sets up the story and world for this unique-looking new title. The elebits are tiny, fat creatures that live in the world and provide energy for humans - to cook food with, in the example in the new movie. They scamper around, creating mischief... it's all a bit too cute, in fact. Find out for yourself by clicking the Movies tab above and ...
Today, Konami's first Wii game was unveiled in... minor detail. The quirky game, called Elebits, stars a race of tiny magical creatures of the same name.
Thursday 27 April 2006
It's been confirmed that Konami's first game for Nintendo's Revolution console will be called Elebits and the project is headed by Shingo Mukaitouge, best known for his work on DrumMania.

Elebits gets its name from the stars of the game - small, cute Pikmin-ish creatures who, when not looking endearing, are the source of power for the magical world they inhabit. In fact the 'Ele' part of the name is a reference to 'electricity', while 'bit' is there just to emphasise ...
