Gamecube&#39;s cancelled Donkey Kong racing game DK Bongo Blast has finally resurfaced on Wii - and we&#39;ve got the first shots to prove it. The game is a Mario Kart-style racer, only more like Sonic Riders, thanks to Donkey Kong&#39;s jet-powered bongos and massive jumps.

The screens show some nice blurring effects on close-up objects and the usual locales are all present and correct. According to The Wire, the latest issue of Japanese games magazine, Famitsu, has revealed that players will use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to control DK as he rockets through sixteen courses within seven differing worlds.
